7th Leg: LGRD to LGLK

After a long (in real world) vacation, it is time to carry on the World Tour. This time I'll fly from Greece to Cyprus, with a short detour toward the coast of Turkey. I was a bit rusty flying the Diamond, so as an extra precaution I disabled all in-flight failures. Let's say the aircraft has rested for a while, checked and that everything is perfect.

Time to go, taxing in Maritsa [LGRD]:
A couple of Seagulls I saw just after take-off from Maritsa:
The port of Rhodes (beautiful scenery btw):
The old port, where the "Colossus or Rhodes" used to stand:

And leaving Rhodes. The lights in the background are the VASI lights of Diagoras Airport:

Approaching now the coast of Turkey, around Sarigerme:

This is Koca Lake, around Dalaman, the aircraft is now passing East of Dalaman Airport:

On the left, Lydae. It is not an island, as it is connected to the continent. There should be the ruins of a very ancient city there.
Crossing between 10.000-12.000 feet a rather desolated area between Dalaman and Antalya:

Overflying Antalya. The round-about I am passing is "Çallı kavşağı antalya" and there is a big statue in the center.
Dalaman Airport:
After Dalaman, the aircraft turns SE, there is a +100 nm part overflying the Mediterranea Sea before reading Cyprus:
But it seems I am not alone:
Some views of Cyprus, flying along the South coast, from Paphos to RAF airbase of Akrotiri toward Larnaca:

Approaching Larnaca:

On final...

And finally landed. Not a very long leg after all... Next time from Larnaca toward Lebanon, Israel to land at the airport of Cairo, Egypt (and have a look at the Pyramids maybe...).
